The Brief:

Seamless Recordings are a long running and well respected electronic music label, specialising in compilations. Sliding Doors was tasked with the planning and execution of a rolling PR campaign throughout the summer, covering a series of Seamless compilations. The aim was to secure a range of valuable reviews and features across dance music and lifestyle press, which could then be used by the label to help them secure retail space and digital distribution support, as well as to raise awareness among the music-buying end consumers.

What We Did:

Sliding Doors planned a careful timeline to ensure that any activity and PR targeting on one release did not compete with another. We heavily researched all stakeholders in each release, including brands, DJs and label, to then develop a range of different pitches for each release which we could use to produce a wide-ranging campaign. We also pushed for reviews in key publications. Ongoing individual pitches throughout the summer ensured that Seamless activity was high on the radar of any journalists writing about dance music, Ibiza and other key holiday destinations. We worked continuously to ensure that a positive message was spread wherever possible about the label and its releases.

What We Achieved:

From reviews and artist interviews to music news and competitions, Sliding Doors secured a wide variety of positive media coverage for Seamless Recordings in print and online press. Campaign highlights included the Daily Star, the Irish Daily Star, Mixmag, Ibiza Voice, Pulse Radio, DJ Mag, Conde Nast Traveller, Datatransmission and much more.
